Heard about this earlier this afternoon when I tuned in to Bluesville on Sirius XM in the vehicle. They've been playing his music all day long and played a message about it. RIP, BB King. :(

B.B. was truly the grandfather of us all. Directly or indirectly an influence on all guitar players. I picked up my guitar this morning intending to play a mournful blues for him, but it became a joyous blues. I suppose that says it all. Thank you, B.B.

Thanks, for the Clapton clip AlexeiY. Eric, you pretty much said it all for us. Take care.

Koko and the gang will be together, so there will be plenty of harmony to share with B.B. when he meets his maker.

I remember B.B. doing his version of the old blues standard "Goin' Down Slow", about a man who had developed a condition which he knew would eventually take his life. I can't find it in any of the lyrics sheets, but B.B. had a couple of lines in his version I will never forget:

"Don't call the doctor, the doctor can't do ol' B. no good..."

I wonder if he thought about that lyric in the last days of his life.
R.I.P. Mr. King
