Anyone have any experience with the Catalinbread Echorec? I have the mxr carbon copy, it is ok but I love the sound of the echorec. I have a 2014 amer std strat thru a 1973 vintage princeton reverb amp. Any input, negative or positive would be appreciated.

Hi J...scub that, Hey Joe
Got one of these pedals a while back, cracking little pedal, I love it, don't think there are any other pedals that can match it, though I always stand to be corrected, things that annoys me are the internal switch and trimmers, true bypass or buffered switch, modulation and gain trimmers all hidden away, these IMO should be right in front of you, saying that, I've never felt the need to delve under the bonnet for a look see, there's plenty of scope playing with what's on display, I'd get another tomorrow if I lost this one.
On the Catalibread website you'll find the manual for the pedal, plus plenty of youtube vids

Have you any probs with noise? I have not found any internet later than 2013 with owners complaint about that prob. Just wondering? Do you use batteries, 9v or 18v power adapter? Thx for your response.

In my experience, all delay pedals eat batteries. Unless you have rechargeables (which last even shorter), running them on batteries can be rather expensive in the long run.
This one also sports a 9V-18V input, so my guess is that it likes a bit more juice than your standard battery.

Caveat: I haven't tried this particular pedal. But my experience from two different Catalinbread pedals is that they are very fun pedals.

I'm using 9v adapter Joe, never had a problem with it once it found its place in the chain, possibly to do with the pre amp, maybe the gain trimmer on some req'r a tweak, overall though I cant complain.
