Awesome! Everyone should have a Les Paul. I don't play mine much but is nice to have a change every once in awhile.

I can't play a Les Paul. The selector switch is right where I play, and I keep hitting it. If I were to get a "Gibson", I would most likely have to go with the SG.

I absolutely LOVE the looks and sound of a Les Paul...but after 33 years of playing, there is no changing my style.

Congrats on the new guitar j.4knee!

I'm with you, I always have at least one LP at the studio and I love it but it messes me up to play it. The scale, the knobs and switches. The Strat's hard wired in my brain now...

Thanks guys. I too am largely a hardwired Fender guy. LP's and Gibsons in general are a finicky thing for me, primarily because of the 50's style neck profile that is used on so many of them. That neck profile, for me, feels akin to have the barrel of a bat with a flat side in my hands. This LP has the "Slim 60's" profile that is closer to the SG neck profile than most of the LP. It has tone that just goes on!!! Plus it has the coil switches tap on the volume knobs. The sustain on this guitar is just insane. It is a nice alternative to my Strat and Tele.

Yea, that's 60s neck is nice, my kind too, very nice guitar, I'm always so afraid of banging a LP, they ding so easy.

I got a Gibson Les Paul Trad Pro about 4 years ago. Nothing like a Les Paul to rip. Nice guitar, man. Real nice ...

My main problem with Les Pauls is that the good ones are usually also the ones that weigh a tonne.
Still, awesome guitars, and rock would have been different without them.

That's a tasty looking Gibby!

It looks remarkably similar to my '77 Les Paul Standard in tobacco brown sunburst. I hope it's lighter though -- mine weighs about 11½ lbs!

Rawk on!
