This time, I observe the following:

- The row that listed the thread starter is gone (but now today it has reappeared under the topic - at least that's good).
- Some buttons have become huge
- Others that aren't buttons but text have become smaller
- More whitespace and white space
- The search box is now partially or fully obscured by the image on top if you have higher DPI settings than "small".

Looks like an adjustment to make it more compatible with old small tablets, at the expense of making it less compatible with PCs, requiring far more scrolling or zooming in and out on the client side.

Anyhow, the main site has also changed. You can't find Squier anymore (on the US site), for one thing.

Yeah, I just noticed the site layout looks different. It is bigger on my screen, at least.

It's CRAP.........................who designs these changes!! I wouldn't pay 'em in washers

OK, so you go to a heading (say stratocaster guitars)
click on it and Where the hell do you go to get to the last post ???????, no little folder icon!!

Here is what I'm talking about , do I have to read through all the previous posts to get to the latest one, as there is nowhere to click after the last poster's name

Image

AND ... when are we going to get rid of the same pictures heading each page, which necessitates scrolling down on every subject clicked on ?

I'm not too keen about this, either. They should have left it alone. I guess somebody was bored. :P

Me too! Even logged out and back in again. A change I'd like to see is the ability to copy and paste pix instead of messing with photobucket.

I wasn't a fan of the last design change, and I'm not keen on this one, either. Ah, well.

While we are at it
How about a "Thanks" button..It is implemented on other forums
Or is that just TOO technical for your so called "designers" (and judging by the present layout , I DO use that term VERY loosely)

Newly-named FMIC board member "Bone-Oh" has decided that he'd like to try his hand as a web master. No surprises there since he's played such a significant role all through Fender's storied history and isn't touring at the moment.

Personally I think he's shy a few nuts and bolts after they put him back together since his cycling accident......

Some one suggested a like button, a like button would be good.

Isn't it funny that every time someone "redesigns" a webpage, it ALWAYS ends up cocked up
This time it is virtually unusable , maybe someone can tell me how the hell I am supposed to get to the last post on a thread ?.........start at the beginning of the thread then go to the last page and scroll down to the last post .....really good improvement that ....NOT

While we are at it, can somebody do a poll about whether we want those bloody annoying pictures at the top of every page you click on, which take up half a page

They should bring back some old school 1999 style web design. :P
