Yes, the sound of a Strat in Robin Trower's hands!!! Every song is so toneful and soulful! If you are a fender Start guy, and do not know about this new cd,, get it Quickly! The man is the strat!

Ah, Robin Trower ... The fact he is still making music is just good for the soul (ours and his). I have been to countless club shows and concerts, and Robin Trower was ... and by a LONNNG way ... the LOUDEST show I was ever at. By far. It was a small club in 1988/1989 in Sacramento, CA. He had Davey Pattison (formerly of Gamma) singing for him. The stage was about waste high. My buddy and I stood right in front of him for the 2 hour set ... right in front of his two Marshall stacks. Let's just say Robin did not go for the "bring a small amp, and mic it into the PA" way of doing things. He was so loud that me and my friend could not talk on the way home because we could not hear each other speak ... even when yelling at each other. At full blast, I could not even hear the radio in my car going home. I was honestly a little scared .... all the shows I went to, and I had NEVER experienced something like that. My ears recovered fine, though, and Trower was amazing. And even though incredibly loud, the tone was almost soft and sweet. It did not seem incredibly loud when he was playing. But, man, it was VERY loud. Weird ...

I heard him say, if the amp is not moving air? Not the right sound! I should be right in front of the amps here in Vegas in June. Can't wait! But the new CD is simply so amazing.

the new CD sounds really good, not a lot of rock or upbeat stuff, but his playing and tone is unmistakably Trower.

The Rock n Roll Hall of Shame (Fame) should be ashamed of themselves by not inducting this great guitarist.
I was lucky enough to Trower live last year and the show was amazing. I wish I could play my stat half as good as he does.

Something's About to Change -- I listened to the samples and just added it to my Buy List. This came out around St. Patrick's Day. Not sure why I didn't hear about it sooner.
