This has not been a good week for the world of rock folks. We've lost Free Bassist Andy Fraser , Molly Hatchet Drummer Bruce Crump , and now , Twisted Sister / Adrenaline Mob Drummer A.J. Pero who was only 55. He died of a heart attck on AM's tour bus . He was found unconscious and could not be revived by paramedics. I know a lot folks knock TS, but I found them to be one of the more entertaining Hair Bands of the 80's who didn't take themselves seriously and reformed in 2001 when 9 /11 hit and did a lot of charity events to raise money for the victims of that day. R.I.P. A.J.

yeah bummer. :( Listening to Twisted Sister was a part of my childhood I'll never forget. I remember drawing the 'TS' logo on the cover of many notebooks. Stay away from Captain Howdy.

LOL

I still have my ‘Come out and Play’ record up in the attic. It doesn’t get much better than a manhole cover with TS on it that you can pull up and out pops Dee in all his 80s glory.

They played out in front of the Fox News building last summer. It was fun seeing them after all those forgotten years. They didn’t play “You’re Gonna Burn in Hell” but they did pay “The Price”

Good times

RIP A.J.

Back in 2009 or so, they mad a in store appearance at the old Daddy's Junky Music , in Warwick , R.I. I believe they were part of some benefit concert that was being held at the Dunkin Donuts center in Providence that week . I didn't go to the in store , but I heard there was a huge line of folks outside waiting to meet them.

Tony (we didn't call him, "A.J.") was a very good friend of mine. We hung out together for years and played in a band together for years. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed.
