Thanks, for your update, James. I think it's wonderful that you have a loving fiancé, and a beautiful new daughter. Pretty special, huh?!

Have an adored wife, a cherised daughter, and a great life. Congrats to you all. :D

And . . . Happy Fathers Day!

Congrats on all counts there. I hope the best for your future. Never had a daughter, but that probably is a good thing, especially for the poor bastard that would want to date her when she was a teenager. :P Remember that day will come, sooner than you think. :P

I was unprepared 40 years ago, and never looked back. A life changer, for the good. Congrats...and best of luck.

Thanks guys! I can't wait until she arrives. I'm already enamored with her and I haven't even met her yet.

I felt her kick for the first time when I was giving my lady's belly a kiss goodnight. She kicked me on the lips.

Let me just say that we have a rifle, a double barreled shotgun (both pre-1897), 6 or 7 machetes, 2 swords, and a closet full of BDSM gear. If any boy so much as puts her hair behind her ear, it's on. :P

Let's just say that while papers may say that she's been adult for a while, they're wrong, and she's obviously still sixteen and innocent. Any boy who wants to take advantage of her do so on the pain of ... pain.

I remember I went on a date in high school and I had to meet her dad, who was this big biker dude that I think was a Marine Viet Nam veteran. That was nerve-racking, to say the least. :P It was cool, though. I passed the test.

Sounds a lot like my mom's dad, only he drove an 86 Bronco on 40" mudders :P

He would clean his guns in the living room and practice throwing his Chinese stars in plain view if any of his daughters said they had a boy to meet and greet.

He called my dad a fa-ggot the first time he met him.

He was just being protective over his daughter, which quite understandable. The cool thing about those veteran biker type dudes, is if you get to know them, you can learn a lot of interesting stuff from them. They know how to survive because they've been through the ringer.

That sucks, Buxom. Sorry to hear about your back and your job.

I've had many jobs (some good and some not so good). In my case, however, the jobs were lost because of company changes or because it was my choice. In some jobs I trained replacements, and in others I trained myself. In all cases, I eventually looked at the job losses from the perspective of what I didn't enjoy, and what I could do to improve matters. Even losing things and with the relationships that I enjoyed, I knew improvements were possible. This helped to keep my spirits up. Knowing I had responsibility helped the motivation.

It is said every man is the architect of his own fortune. There is some truth to this, and it is also said, "If the mountain won't come to Muhammad, Then Muhammad must go to the mountain."

This is the time to follow that adage, " When the going gets tough the tough get going. "

The best time to start is today (for tomorrow
may have a different agenda).

Best of luck, Buxom and make every day a great one.

FSB
