Hi Linn, Steinberger still does. A riff on the old Vox guitar/organ. It looks like it could work. New gear lol.

Yeah, well my predictions of the future are pretty sad. I thought that with the tech explosion in personal computers and digital recording along with midi-controller keyboards and sampling that there would be tons of young inspired keyboard players out there. Nope. Didn't happen. Sad too.

Artiphon could go the same way, but I can see garage bands of teens playing them. I probably need new glasses.

If only Linn. The modern music landscape is daunting. There are so many good bands playing right now to get noticed a band has to be stellar lol.

One of these days I'm going to get some kind of an app for my phone so when I come up with a cool song far from home or at least the nearest instrument, I'll be able to capture it. But then my buddy always says if it is a good song, you will remember it. If you don't, it wasn't worth remembering in the first place...

I think your friend is way off base. I've forgotten a ton of great bass riffs because I didn't record them, or even in my most rudimentary ability to write them down in staff/ bass clef. Some I managed to rediscover a few years later and the rest are lost forever.

Artiphon and an app? Who knows? I could be famous & rich! :D "I coulda been a contender!"
