You can always Google for Fender guitars being sold in the UK, you're bound to come up with prices, just as you would here in the US. Just make sure that you're specific regards 'UK', or 'England'.

I used to be stationed with the US Air Force in the UK about 15 years ago, and occasionally I would go to Denmark Street-THE place to shop in London for guitars and amps. My experience is that UK prices for new Fenders are at least 60% more than they are here, if not much more. The Pound is currently worth about double what the US Dollar is, so you can do the math. If the UK price in pounds is the same as what you'd pay for something in the US, then it's a safe guess that it's gonna cost you double! Just because the US exchange rate is bad VS the Pound rate doesn't mean that their prices are going do go DOWN. Odds are, they don't and won't! Plus, they have to deal with VAT (Value Added Tax). You can Google that, too.

Sfaik there are no guitarcenter stores in the UK. They do have other music chain stores though.

In general US made guitars cost quite a bit more in the UK than in the USA. A number of people I know via internet forums have made it a point to pick up a guitar while visiting the US on holiday.

I'm in Ireland and prices are even more expensive here. For example, I recently bought a AVRI '52 Tele and it cost almost 2000euros-that works out at almost 3200 us dollars

sorry just to add to that,
the selction here is not great. quite often a guitar shop would not have a particular guitar that one may have in mind to try out.
the internet is fast becoming the first choice for fender products because of price and variety, unfortunately this method does not allow one to test equipment beforehand

I agree Paulie, I was recently in Cork and visited Crowley's music shop (where Rory Gallagher bought his famous strat) and fell in love with a natural finish Strat hanging on the wall, but I would have had to take out a mortgage to buy it! Interestingly, they had a replica of Rory's strat in a glass case in the window, can't imagine how much that would have been as the UK list price is over £2,000! I satisfied myself by taking a pic of it :)
