Nice bass and absolutely amazing slap performance you did with that growler, Marcus would be proud. :P

FYI this model is no longer into production, the SMV frontman had quit the Fender camp and signed an endorsement deal with Sire Guitars.

Hard to find a 5-string Marcus Jazz with that BadAsss V dual-access bridge. :|

Much tks for your compliment, really appreciate :)

Are you for real, Fender doesn't produce the MM5 no more? Just checked on the Fender website, couldn't find it. Is that really true? That would be a damn shame, that MM5 is a dynamite bass.

P.S.: I put the Badass bridge on myself, got Badass'es on all of my Fenders...I am so used to Badass bridges, without them I totally get thrown off ;)

Actually it's true. Marcus signed an endorsement deal with Sire Guitars once his agreement with FMIC ended.

Only a very few 5-string Marcus prototypes were produced with the BadAss V before the SMV frontman opted for an American Deluxe bridge assembly.

I checked the net and couldn't find anything about that Marcus Miller's agreement with Fender ended. The MM signature models are still for sale on the Fender website. I know he does the Sire thing now, but where does it state that his Fender deal ended? Any link with info?
