Just catching up here.

Bluesy Afternoon was a beautiful song to start my day, Mike. I can’t pick one of your best songs, they’re all great, but this one’s up there.
Showers Today was a fun piece. According to the forecast, I’ll need it tomorrow. :P
The Funky Duck must’ve strutted off waiting for me down Electric Avenue ‘cause it was a no show on SoundCloud, Mike. But, I know it was funky ‘cause you is. 8)
Days Like This. Now there’s a fine example of how hard work pays off. Really good. Now how do I stop my head from nodding before someone thinks I’m a bobble head, and puts me on a dash :?:
Soulful gives me a vision of a dark club with blue lighting, wafts of cigarette smoke, slow dancing on the floor, and a couple snuggling in a dark corner behind a cocktail table with candlelight. You might even hear those sounds down the street from Mike’s Clam Shack. Very cool tune.

Those gigs are keeping you busy, and that!s a good thing, Mike. You must be looking pretty buff hauling all that gear. :P
I just listened to ‘Soft’. Nice. You remind me of the gang from the Brill Building wrapped up into one. The hits just keep comin’ and we like it. 8)

Cheers!

Thanks FSB - I have callouses on callouses - not a bad thing.
The younger dudes do most of the heavy lifting....I just pay them afterwards.

Thanks Mark, much appreciated. I'm not a country guy at all but
I played my Tele over this backing track and tried to sound country....kinda..

Glad to hear you’re using your noggin’ with the loading, Mike.

That Bluesy Time had a lot happening that made good use of your guitar and my ears, Mike. You made it your own and I liked it.

Whatta ya mean you’re not country. Even Steven Tyler is country, and I know you’re a big belt buckle guy in disguise. Why gosh darn, Blake was hoping you’d show up for the gig at his saloon yesterday, and Luke was disappointed.

Ha! All I have to do is watch Johnny Hiland's videos with his chicken pickin' to know!

BUT.....Keith Urban does a great job on the classic BeeGees song (To Love Somebody) :

Thanks, for the link, Mike. Keith certainly did hit it outa the park.

New Country has a lot of rockers that smartly hit the stage like cowboys because of the music change, and the opportunity and, in some cases, the song writers. I have a close friend I’ve known for 50 years. We were both Elvis fans, and when I told him of Elvis having a Country background, he couldn’t accept that. He hated Country music, told his son he could use his stereo but was not allowed to play Country, and now that his son owns and drives semis, loves Rock and Country, my friend embraced Country, and accepts Elvis for his Country connections.

This is just a jam over a backing track. I used a wireless midi keyboard for the trumpets but
had some latency that I need to sort out. The guitar is a Hwy 1 Tele into my Fender G-Dec 30
into an Apogee jam interface into Logic (DAW).

Thanks Mark, yeah that was just a jam that I added Midi keys and guitar to.

This one I just finished. It's called New Age Nights and it has 14 total tracks that
I mixed down. I used my Korg Synth and Epiphone Hummingbird Pro acoustic.
