Very nice slow blues in A. I love playing slow blues, A: because I love it and, B: because I can't play fast anymore. :) Do you have a Guitar Pro file for it?

Thanks Mark. No it's just a jam in A. 12 bar slow blues with minimal backing.

I knew that, thought you'd get a chuckle when I answered. :D

I did get a chuckle but then I just wanted to be sure you knew. :DI should have come back with something like, "no GP file?!? Slacker!"

I'm out of my element with this big band jazz backer, but I had fun with it :

Thanks Mark! I reversed the control plate on my Tele and wanted to give the baby finger
a workout mostly.

“Korg Pandora Funk” has me struttin’ in da hood, Mike. Very cool vibe from yesteryear.

“Serenity” had me sailing calm waters watching the world go by. Nice!

“Pleasure Island”. Very relaxing, Mike. It had me thinking of laying on the warm sand with a little breeze watching the birds hover in the higher wind. I wanna go there.

Sorry my link to a few selections failed (prolly my faux pas with timeouts); but I did get Pleasure Island Tonight which worked well with Michael.

“Emotional Edge”. You not only have a talent for great music, Mike, your song titles rock too. Nice blend of guitars and sustain.

“Just some noodling” and pretty nice noodling at that. Really digging the great tone of that acoustic, Mike. What are you using here?

“Crying World”. Experimenting with a black coffee and a touch of Grand Marnier and Ameretto (with tea it’s a Blueberry tea). Tastes pretty good for a double double guy. Put this beautiful song on to add to the morning. Purrfect.

“Outlaw Blues”. Uh oh! Heard a little Deliverance there.
“Swagger”. Excellent, Mike. Still sipping a special coffee. If it wasn’t so dang early I’d tip a cocktail in your direction. That reminds me of the ladies in tight gowns with their French rolled coiffures, and the greased hair gents wearing cocktail jackets and continental ties as they did a little twisting in one spot with swagger. Beautiful people. On the other hand, it fits the yacht club and beach crowd too. Works just about everywhere. Nice!

“Somewhere In Rio”. Ah, yes. A favourite place of my father. He would have loved that photo and music as I do. What compression are you using, Mike? Great sustain and loved the melody. Your well balanced mix made this song sing like a bird from the Amazon.

I'm old enough to remember when there was only one choice!!!

I don’t remember that. (What a big lie I told, and the young ‘uns don’t think we have computer savvy) It’s the GUI and WYSIWYG we have trouble with. ROTFL
“Ugh”. Nothing ugh there, Mike. I’ve jammed with several big bands including one from the 20s to the 70s notable band. That’s the beauty of drums. Ya get to crossover easily, especially if you can fake it with style like me. Sweet Lombardo/Welk ain’t my thing, and this famous Chicago/Catalina Island Jan Garber Band was definitely that; but, they were after hours burning up a lounge with hot stuff that rocked and asked if I’d like to sit in. You can guess my answer. That said, I think you did fine, Mike. That’s what’s great about big band. Fun .

Swell job on “Swell”

Keep the hits comin’. :D

FSB

To the uninitiated. Never think big band musicians are stuffy old school. They are, for the most part, just the opposite. Very hip with a little hop in their step.
