Might search Nashville Deluxe Tele with Power Bridge on Ebay. Think they had a Strat version too. Fender sells the Power Bridge for Tele. Was checking last year but didn't come in black. Would have saved the machine shop bill to notch the bridge I already had. They might have one for Strat, just check the labor charge at the shop to avoid sticker shock. My guy is expensive. Each saddle has its own piezo and they all have to be routed and wired. A lot of work.

You mean like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-Fender-Del ... 4d2de881a7
I'm real tempted, it's local to me. I emailed to ask a couple of questions. Like, how do you activate the piezo, and if there is any volume or tone control over it.

I have that Deluxe Power Strat and like it quite a lot but it is very fundamental. It does not have a separate out for the piezo signal (not a stereo jack either). The bottom knob normally reserved for tone is a volume for the piezo. There is no switch for the piezo, you dial it in or out at the knob. To get strictly piezo, you dial it in and dial out the magnetic pickups (only one volume for those). The middle knob is a tone strictly for the magnetic pickups, it does not effect the piezo pickup.

The piezo is more convincing as an acoustic when it is put through a PA or full range acoustic guitar amp. It is not very convincing in its acoustic sound when put through a standard guitar amp. -Marty

I have the Fender Nashville Power Deluxe tele which has 3 pickups plus the 6 individual piezo pickups. The piezos have a separate volume control, so they can be played on their own or blended with the other pickups. The output is stereo as well, so you can send the piezo o/p to a separate amp if desired.
A very versatile guitar, but I believe that it has just been discontinued.
cheers,
Alex

Got the call today! Piezos should be finished and guitar ready to be picked up sometime this week. Can't wait to hear it. Saw a maple Strat on his website. Think I'll check out the bodies while I'm there. Might be time for a new build!

I'd be interested in how you like your piezo setup after you get a chance to live with it for a bit. I used my accoustic pedals for two shows so I'm not in a rush, and I'm still debating whether to get a piezo equipt guitar or reconfigure one of my existing guitars. I'm thinking I may want one with a single out and one with stereo out for when I'm real serious.

Well, got the call again this week. "Will be done by the end of the week". Friday evening and still not done. Hope is worth the wait! Was hoping for some serious Tele time this weekend.
