I get better discusions about old fender guitars on the martin forum, I guess all us boomers holding onto our old fenders spend more time with our high dollar acoustics, fender must be a guitar for kids in the modern day. I know the acoustics are junk.not to bash ,just a thought. its really a shame. and now a very big yawn. good night gracey.

I have held onto my 67 Tele because it's the first guitar I bought with money I made playing out. I am not sure what you mean by a young persons guitar. I'm in my 60's and in the last several year have purchased two Strats, two Tele, and six Fender amps. I have sold some of the amps and one of the Strats and Teles, but, I am always on the lookout for unique Fenders. I believe there are lots of older Fender fans on this forum who like me, still buy Fender guitars. By the way, welcome to the Forum.

I beg to differ concerning the Fender acoustics. I own a CD60CE in the Mahoghany finish and I think it's a great sounding guitar. It definitely is not junk.

Yep, I'd say so. I'm clicking 'unsubscribe' to this one.
