Well,...it is finally happening,...I will soon have my very first Hammond organ,...a vintage A-100 tone wheel Hammond organ that I have wanted ever since high school,...even back then I wanted to play but never had the space or the funds. Those who are familiar with Hammond on this site will know that the A-100 is the same as a B-3 internally plus having on board speakers, amp, and reverb,...so in a lot of ways, the A-100 is technically superior to the B-3/C3 for those reasons. Unfortunately,I won't have a Leslie with it as I don't have the room for an external tone cabinet(Brian Auger doesn't use Leslies, either). The vintage tone wheel Hammond organs are REAL Hammonds,...the so called clones and "digital" organs just do NOT compare to the vintage ones and are not built as well as the originals. I will be taking delivery of my Hammond in two weeks. I bought it from Hammond Organ World,...ALL vintage Hammonds they sell HAVE to go through a 100 point service inspection BEFORE they release the organ for shipping to you. I was really impressed by that, and makes me feel even better about dealing with them vs other dealers I have checked out. I'll be making music again real soon. :D

That's pretty cool. 8) I'd love to learn how to play keys, organ or otherwise.

I love the sound of those. Isn't that what Gregg Allman used with the Allman Brothers ?
