I'm using an AVT 150. I like the acoustic and the clean channels, but the overdrives are a little dissapointing sometimes. Overall it's not bad and it's pretty nice for a hybrid amp. All the effects it comes with are handy, too.

Just wondering what possible use could a person of your age have for a Marshall 1/2 stack?

No Marshall here. I am using an Ampeg AX-70... Small, but loud.

My main Marshall is a Dual Reverb 4501 50w combo that is run through two Marshall 1912, 1x12" cabs. It is a early 900 series, from '92, that uses EL34s in the power amp section. Later units used 6L6s and had a different tonal character.
My other is a Marshall Major, that cranks out 200 watts through two 4x12" cabs loaded with EVM12L speakers. almost needless to say; this amp does not get used much becuase it's "sweet spot" is a little on the loud side.
