I'm playing through a no-name 10-footer that's lasted me 2+ years,
and a Livewire 25' that I've returned twice (at least there's a lifetime warranty)
I need some 6" between pedals though...

There can be some difference. Some are better for certain lengths too. I usually buy the more recognized brands for quality, but all the cables I have work fine, regardless of brand, for me

I like them well enough. I have a 10' red one. Spent more money on a Planet Waves cord and one from Monster Cable. Both died and I still have the California red. Works just fine.

Me I have a few Monster Cables and two of the Vox vintage coils and a 12' Fender Premium. I like the Vox and the Fender.

I have a blue 10 footer I've been using for three years. No problems here.
Nice looking cables as well.

I've got a couple of CCs and for inexpensive they're not bad. If you use them a lot be ready to re-solder the connections in a couple of months. That's what went wrong go on mine. For Fender cables I prefer the Vintage Voltage cables, overall the Planet Waves cables seem to be really nice for the money.

I like the California Cables, they are strong and enable good movement on stages (well, small stages).

I've had one that's lasted for a while, and as someone else pointed out, they're good looking too.

I've since moved on to dB Technologies Wireless Guitar units, though.
But yes, California Cables are indeed a good choice! It'll serve you well.
