Hi , I recently purchased a new American Standard Deluxe P-Bass, looks

great, sounds even better. I wanted to change the batteries ((2-9volts)

over the weekend; and after removing the two small phillips screws on

battery cover. The cover would NOT come off! What could be the

problem and more important what can I do to get the cover off??

Any one with the same active bass as I have, please let me know,

If this has happened to you and what you did. Thanks for your

feedback. My music store told me bring it in, but its a one hour

drive round trip. This has got to be minor stuff, but I DON'T want

to mess up the finish on this beautiful bass.

If there on one place a bit space between cover plate and wood you
try it carefully a nailfile to level it on.

cheers :D
