Crazy Hard Guitar Trivia - Part Deux

Good Luck !

I scored a very disappointing 9/18 and several of those were pure guesses. Looks like I need to spend more time learning the History of these popular instruments.

Fortunately, I did get all the Fender-related questions correct.

Have Fun !!

cheers!

I refuse to enter these infantile pastimes, but if I did happen to find myself in a life or death type situation I'd get a lot more than 3, you can take that to the bank :)

8/18

Given that there are four alternatives to each question, a typical 9 score means knowing six and guessing three.
And a score of 3, that's less than the average for random answers, which would be 4-5.

I got 8. Its funny because some of these are no brainers ( what does the third digit in a Rickenbacker model number stand for? Trem or non trem) Others really are crazy hard. (what gibson hollowbody is the biggest?)

The latter is a trick question, because they don't define "biggest". Longest? Widest? Thickest? Heaviest? Largest displacement? Needs the largest volume rectangular box to contain the body?

The Rickenbacker question you stated above is better, but not great either - it's like asking what the 3 in EL34 stands for - you can play one for decades without knowing it.

No it is not a trick question. The Term "Biggest" when discussing Gibson guitars has always meant the width of the bout, i.e., the measurement across the top. That is also why they called it the "Super 400", the largest guitar they made.

I only got a 9 myself. There were some difficult questions in that quiz.

I got a lot of them wrong early on and then rallied. May be I'll try Part 1 now.
