Any of you other gun/hunting/sharpshooter enthusiasts have any advice or websites you would suggest for information on getting into sharpshooter competitions?

I dunno. I'd suggest the Army or the Marines if you aren't ex-military already... 8)

Little late for that, ex-USMC Scout/Sniper. I'm hoping I'll have a little heads up on the competition at these types of events.

Scuba diving is honestly the most fun I have when I go to beaches for vacations. It's too bad that since I've been diagnosed with Diabetes, it's supposed to be unsafe for me to continue ...

Sorry to hear that, but you better listen to your doctor.

There are many, many places that snorkeling in shallow water can still be a wonderful experience.

In some cases, it may be better since it is
1) safer involves relatively shallow water
2) less involved (eg expense, hassle of maintenance, less to lug around)

Other than bass guitar, hmm, cars (muscle and imports[Euro&JDM]), guns, pistols really. The only pistol I have left if .44mag Ruger Black Hawk. I have a shotgun too. With how much bullets cost nowadays, I don't shoot so much anymore, but when I do we (w/2 other friends) shoot lots of .22 since the bullets are so cheap
