I can see where the excitement might be uncontrolable. Hope they're wearing 'Depends'.

I predict that one of the new products will be a guitar with
built in digital effects and/or models. :?:

I think you're playing it safe with that one. I will go one further and say a guitar with the built in effects/models AND a set of Beats headphones.

And Made in China. The guitar too.

I (and probably you guys too) just got an e-mail from Fender about the new Stratacoustic Premier, costing a chunk of money more than the mere "plus". It's now so premier that it's made in ... not exactly Connecticut.
A company that owes its existence to tradition shouldn't forget that tradition doesn't persist unless quality persists.

The one to get was the guitar Todd Krause built for Eric which sold at Bonhams. 8) Never see the likes of that again. :? .....and.....Oh yes.....the suits who reconfigured the table of organization of the company....direct your thoughts about quality and country of manufacture their way. Betcha they don't give a crap!

Ugh, 5 Custom Shop J bass models and two P bass models. The Journeyman line just sounds like more industry speak for non-vintage spec instruments trying to be marketed like Reissues, but I'll reserve judgement til I see it. Of course NO new additions to the American Vintage Bass offerings, but the Strat and Tele each get two American Vintage Limited Editions. We still can't get an American made vintage correct made Single Coil Precision Bass outside of the Custom Shop. Or an American made OR vintage correct one for that matter. Yawn, maybe next year.

I am tripping about the Custom Shop 70's Stratocaster. I can't wait to see what that looks like at Namm next week. I may have to get one of those, if it is cool looking and sound great!
