Definitely thinking about it. Don't have a lot of $$$ to spend so I'm a little hesitant because I'm afraid I might see something I can't live without...

I hope they offer tickets to non-members again for the Summer NAMM in Nashville. I might be able to make that one.

I really need to redeem myself from last year. Had a bit of an "incident" while out mountain biking literally the day before the show last year. Made it out to Anaheim, and tried to hobble around the floor for the first day - but the pain was just too excrutiating. Parked it on a couch up in our artist lounge for the run of the show. That's no way to do NAMM! :(

Ouch, Brad ! Hope you're better, please no mountain biking, you're too important to us. There are some exercise bikes with big video screens so if you feel the need for mountainous speed you can bike the himalayas lol.

Do a lot of 'meet and greet' though!

My lips are sealed on the new gear (for now) - but there's some great stuff as always. I already have one of the new models on my own "wish list" for the year and that's saying something, as I need another guitar like I need a hole in the head! :D

What will be interesting (to me at least) is to see what effect the Scouring Of The Shire has had on Custom Shop.
Last year, Mike Eldred said there were many new and exciting things in the works - that may or may no longer be true, with Mike and others gone. I hope we won't see just more relic jobs. Even though that's presumably bread and butter for Fender Custom Shop, they also have been giving us new things. Some that flop, and some that don't, and that's the nature of the game.

2 Weeks from today the Namm show opens and I will be one of the first hopefully through the Anaheim Convention doors and straight up to the Fender booth. I am in the market for a new Fender Custom Shop Strat and I hope I am able to find one at the show, so I can contact my go to guy Teddy from http://www.makenmusic.com and have him put the order in for me. :D

Unless FMIC is unveiling an American Vintage 1955 or 51 Precision Reissue I'm probably not going to be too excited. Or maybe a Vintage Modified Bassman Ten Reissue with a built in line out and NEO speakers. Should be interesting to see what's cookin', though.
