They're pretty few and far between. Off hand, I can only think of Shawn Stern from Youth Brigade..

And Robert Quine of Richard Hell & the Voidoids and Lou Reed, who played a lot of different kinds of music as well...

And I guess we could throw in Ron Asheton of the Stooges...

Who else???

Can't believe I left out East Bay Ray of the Dead Kennedy's, though he's played a lot of different axes over the years.

Yeah, we can throw him in there. I'm trying to cast a pretty wide net to satisfy my curiosity...

Tom DeLonge (blink182) plays a large-headstock Strat with a single SD Detonator humbucker in the bridge. Fender did a signature model for him in 2003 (I think but I'm not 100% sure about the exact release date) followed by a Squier version featuring an Invader humbucking pickup lately that year.

Discontinued.

Looks like I'm mostly answering my own question... But still looking for some more help finding punkers who play Strats... Here's Andrew from Decry with his Strat.

There are a fair share that play strats, but I think that perhaps the rawness of punk is easier presented by teles, which might be why we find more Telecaster punk masters.

Nothing wrong with using a strat, though. :)

Johnny Ramone played several in his early years, iirc, including a 54 hardtail.

Then there's X-Ray Spex, one of the few punk bands to feature both a Strat and a Sax. And with Poly Styrene (RIP) on vocals, all I can say is they were one of the best punk bands with a female singer ever!

I've seen Paul Leary of the Butthole Surfers with a Strat. I suppose you could call them a punk band in a way. :P He's also played with the Melvins.

I'd definitely call the Butthole Surfers punk! Saw them a bunch of times and they always put on a great show. Very psychedelic as you well know... I saw them in San Francisco in the 80s and Paul had a sideways mohawk going on with his hair just loose, so every time he leaned his head back he looked like a skinhead and every time he leaned forward he looked like a hippy. He started going back and forth really fast during one song and I'm like, hippy, skinhead, hippy, skinhead, hippy, skinhead... arggghhH!
