Think positive, these rock legends would certainly leave the room for the new generation of musicians who had grown with their music.

One of them would be Eric Clapton's grandson Isaac Owen Bartlett - he'll herit the guitars and gear from his grandfather in his teenhood and continue the brillant work ol' slowhand did for a whole half of a century.

Hopefully the next generations of musicians will reaIize that to be able to actually play an instrument, form a band and keep real rock and roll alive by actual performance is far better than sitting in front of a computer screen and dj setup and sampling. It seems that far too many of the younger generation do not believe that it is necessary to remember the real roots of rock, and the musicians who wrote and performed it. I am of the same generation of the musicians who are now unfortunately leaving us. I have been teaching my grandson all of the virtues and amazing creativity of the sixties and seventies rock musicians. I hope that music will take a 180 degree turn and we will see the same awesome quantity of incredible music and lyrics as we did from that period.

I was lucky to see him in concert in the early 70's. In the 90's, I was lucky again when he signed one of his albums and a cd for me when he was in Cleveland. What a great talent. He will be missd.
