Yeah I know , why would I buy guitar strings from Kohl's?
Well I ordered a few Fender T-shirts online from them and I had a 20% off coupon. So when processing the order the title "6 pack of Fender Strings $14.99 popped up. So I'm thinking, this is less than 3 bucks a pack with the discount. Great deal!

My package came today with on pack of strings!!! Apparently the the "6 pack" means you get 6 strings in a pack  Really??
Called the Kohl's online folks and explained that no retailer would charge that much for one set of strings. In addition item title online is somewhat misleading. She agreed and gave me my money back. I guess I deserved it for trying to buy guitar strings from Kohl's.

Fender should have a discussions with the Kohl's folks because they are way overcharging for a pack of strings.....Not even Fender direct charges that much for a pack of Super Bullets 3250R strings!!!

Okay...I feel better now

That would be criminal if it wasn't so funny. Technically, I guess it is a six pack because when you think of it, strings are also sold individually and not just packs. Too funny ...

I hear guys mention this, but I've never seen strings sold individually.

It's not too uncommon. Check out Ernie Ball's web site for examples.

It's perhaps especially common for 12 string guitars, where the light g string tends to break far more often than any other string - it's like the g string on your regular guitar but tuned up an entire octave.

Don't know where you're located, but here in Australia, $14.95 for a pack of Fender bullets is pretty normal!
