You probably have to scroll even further down. Below the three full-width (wtf?) pulldown menus below the last post. There you should a "Post Reply" button.

Don't care for the tiny font for the username area or anywhere else.

Small font also entering text in a new message.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot....

I can't even figure out how to do a simple reply without a quote attached to it. There is no reply window - - Google Chrome / Windows 7

FIX THIS!!!!

+1 Mac OS , not answer window

1. If you click on the sign in button at the top of the page, it will have you reset your password. I figured I'd have to do it eventually, so I went ahead and changed mine. But, yeah, it was recognizing me with no problem.
2. I noticed the small font also. I thought it might have to do with my settings, but everything else is normal size, so I think it's a global setting that needs adjusting.

Did not work for me ,

I hate this new look , too wide on screen , log in do not work well .
One of the worst "downgrade " I saw

What a fantastic upgrade!
What was once working is now broken!

I now have login issues, and I'm not going to create a new account if things cannot be sorted out.

Well done Fender!!!

With reference to my previous post - the only reason I managed to access my account and post is because I have more than one computer set up to access this forum.
I have logged out on one of the machines and tried to log back in.

I keep getting an error message.
I click the forgotten password button.
I get a link through to this http://intl.fender.com/en-GB/
It's Groundhog Day for as long as you want to go round.

Is there any chance of you actually getting a grip of the problem?
I have already set up two (yes two) accounts because my first one (Stratmangler) wouldn't let me in and nobody at your end could sort that one out.
I'm now on Stratmangler2.
3 ain't gonna happen.

All I want to do is talk guitar with the other guys......
Your guitars and amps are great, but your forum is falling rather wide of the mark....

Tell the wally who redesigned this site he cocked up big style
There is absoluteley nothing better about it
As others have said, there is TOO MUCH white and the banner header at the top of each page is a waste of space
I think this community will have a lot of deserters

I'll be honest here , and that is I don't like the new look. Not just the forums but the whole site as well. I used to enjoy reading the reviews of Fender products on here and now they're gone. Why did Fender remove those ?

I've been on the new site for a few days, and as I get use to it, I am liking it. It was a big change. This is my first post on the new forum, I am not finding much I don't like, the font in the left colume is way too small, my eyes are not what they used to be.

Also, it took down the site for almost three days? This is a multinational corporation, and they don't have someone capable of setting up a the new instance on a staging or shadow machine/VM, and switch to the new instance once it's ready? Truly amazing.
The decision of the admin or his superiors does not reflect well on Fender.
And it's not even like it's the first time - it was down for days the last time it was upgraded too.

If they run their factory the same way (cells being down for days, and coming up in production without a QA run), well, I can see why so many now associate Fender with bad quality.

This is truly amateurish, in so many ways. I welcome change, but I also expect professional planning and procedures, and a little bit of QA. Fender isn't a company where the web site is run by the owner's nephew.

I'm not exactly impressed. Too much white space, too tiny fonts, and lots of extra stuff to scroll past.
It seems like a change for the sake of change, not to address any problems.

Hopefully, Brad spent the two extra minutes this time to turn on regex post filtering and rejecting all posts with lines matching ^.*\*.*\*.*\*.*$, which would account for, oh, close to 100% of the spam here.

As for problems, I fear that the Fender FUSE people must have been involved, because they now have introduced an incompatibility with high DPI displays. The style bar at the top while posting is hardcoded to a specific number of pixels, while the text in them scales. The net results is that only part of the text is seen on a high DPI display, because the fonts scale while the box doesn't.
So I see QUOT and COD and two boxes both saying LIST.
Likewise, the grab handle for resizing the reply window doesn't show with high DPI settings - it disappears below the window box. Again, it looks like someone has replaced the scalable elements with hardcoded sizes, not taking into account that fonts and widgets do scale, and is outside the web designer's control.
These problems are probably not for Brad to fix, but whoever massacred the style sheet to get it to look more Fender-ish.

As for doing a reply without quoting, you have to scroll down all the way to the bottom. Which is doable, but much more work than before because of all the extra crud you have to scroll past.

It looks good, apart from the miniscule font size, but I find it less practical.
A more rectangular look with lots of extra whitespace seems to be the current fad. Windows 8 "Metro", Android's "Material Design" style in Android 5 and newer apps, and, well, this. I'm sure it makes more sense on tablets than on PCs.

I scrolled down to the bottom on my page, and no reply button.

I scrolled down to the bottom of the page right below your post and found the post reply button. It's been there for me right from the get go. As before, replying to post other than the last, requires the use of the 'quote' button.

Gleanings from Brad's Facebook page indicate that quite the midnite oil has been spent on this endeavor. I have cued him in to Arth's critical analyses. As I've noted early, we have been down this road before, and survived intact. Perhaps, in time, curfew will ultimately cease to ring. Meanwhile, I'm still seeking the link to the Custom Shop website. :?:

One more thing and that is, the print is just way too small as to trying to tell who is posting what on here . This is a complete failure !!! Bring back the old forum cause this one sucks !
