Dumb question when I try to add an avatar in my control panel I only see one option to link from url.

Am I over looking something?

Use the your image's Direct Link for the avatar. That should do it.

No, you're not. This forum does not have a set of avatars to choose from, doesn't allow uploads, and also isn't configured to support gravatar or other common avatar sources. So an image hosted elsewhere is the only option.

There is a site avatar selection here. Go into to your User Control Panel. Click on profile. Click on Edit Avatar. Go to Local Gallery, then click on Display Gallery. That will bring up the Fender Site Avatars.

This is the link to use one of your own pictures. The Direct Link for the picture you want to use from a photo site, like Photo Bucket.
