The other difficulty I am having is getting this Piano score to sound "right" on guitar. Picking the right representative notes and choosing the right octave. Playing it on just first three positions is kind of dead. Its my first attempt at anything like this. I don't want to use someone else's tabs, but really learn the process.

I should also mention that 5ths and 4ths are always almost spot on - only 2 cents difference.
So three-chord songs with mainly power chords on the guitar tend to go well with just intonation instruments (blues harps, brass instruments, violins, etc.). Especially when combined with a fretless bass too, where the bassist can tweak his tones to be spot on, and do the problematic thirds so the guitar player can stick with fifths without making things sound sour.
