I found this Adam Clayton Jazz at a local SA. I really like the Sherwood Green Metallic

It's a gorgeous bass. A bassist friend of mine who is a dedicated J player is looking for a new bass and an upgrade. I suggested either an older AVS 62 or the current 64 RI. Or the Clayton. He is playing a modern J right now so the neck on this would be less of a switch for him on the Clayton than going to a reissue. Plus, it's just sooooo rich looking. Like an old Lincoln. Super sharp. Congrats!

Absolutely love it. Makes me smile. :D

Noticed the nylon strings already in place. I love them on my fretless and elec/acoustic bass. I have a set for my main bass but the Elixirs on now are still singing a sweet song.

Thank you gents. I had sold the 4003, and was looking for a replacement. I saw it, and almost didn't recognize it at first. They told me, they had just gotten it in.

Mr. Nylon, those machine head buttons add a cool factor to an already cool bass guitar. Thanks for posting that pic. 8)

It really does sound good. I'm not to crazy about most Artist Series Basses, but this one was worth it to me anyway. One other Artist Series Bass I had, was the Roger Waters Precision. Another well put together bass, that also sounded great. The bigger neck, and I didn't seem to work together to well though. I don't have that issue with AC Jazz. 8)
