Does anybody remember what thier life was like before they got that first guitar? Mine wasn't very exciting mostly couch potato stuff. Now when I'm not at work or doing my "honey do's" I practice play and read the forum. Hey reading is reading.

ya same here, I would always just watch tv and do stupid stuff, now I direct my time to a more productive thing, playing.

play outside every day. Swim in the pool in the backyard with our neighbors for hours in the summer. Backyard kick ball. Karate, drawing, and school. And i've grown out of the playing stage, although I still like to swim on a nice hot day. Karate and drawing stuck with me, although drawing time has decreased a little. But that's not necisarrily due to excessive practicing time with my guitar, I guess that was just one of my only hobbies, and now that i have another I don't spend quite as much time one it.

I've always had lots to do, all my life. Guitar is just an added bonus.

I used to play too many video games before the life of rock. I mean, I was even starting to pick up weight (I don't gain much, no matter how hard I try.) I mean, every other day of the week it was freakin' Runescape (shudder).

Today with me behind the frets I've even gotten a song request from a girl and joined my praise band at church. Life seems pretty good. :D

I used to spend more time watching tv. Now I really don't. I still try to spend as much time outdoors as possilbe. Now I can bring my guitar along with to make the great outdoors even greater!
