I'm not into stuff like that....but I must admit, it is a pretty good idea for those that are. Pretty cool concept.

I've been reading the link for five minutes and I still don't know what it does.
Is it an interface between a guitar and a DAW?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

It is MY understanding, that it is a remote link to a software based "pedal board".

It's a midi controller in the shape of a guitar "wing".
It needs its own hook-up to a DAW or other midi-controllable device to actually do something.

From the mfgr:

"The Guitar Wing simply works with any software that supports MIDI.

Templates are available for popular software platforms such as Ableton Live, Guitar Rig, Logic, and more.

The Guitar Wing can also be used to control MIDI hardware like Axe-FX or Eventide pedals, using your computer and MIDI interface or a USB-MIDI host."

The company has some other...um...interesting products as well.

I love MIDI. And I love guitar.
But the combination does not seem natural to me.
I mean, I love steak too, but would not combine steak with guitar either.
