Hello forumites. I have been busy over the last year or so. I had some health issues, that coupled with work and school really sucked up my time. Since my last post I did purchase a new 2012 Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster. Compound radius neck, So switch, LSR nut HSS. Phenomenal guitar. Plays awesome, sounds awesome, and handles better than any guitar I have owned in the past. I really love the compound radius neck.

Still busy with school and work, but I will try to keep up with y'all, the wonderful forumites.

I thought that name looked familiar. Welcome back. I just returned myself a couple of months ago.

Howdy!

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Welcome back RK.

I also have an HSS 2012 Fender American Deluxe Strat and I love it. Congrats on the new axe! 8)

Doesn't suspending it sideways like that put an awful lot of strain on the neck? I can see it being practical, but...

The compound radius neck keeps perfect balance when suspended sideways.

It's a LSR nut. Ball bearings inside that help glide the strings in place. 0 friction as long as it has a very light coat of oil. Between the LSR nut, locking tuners and 2 point bridge I can dive as if I have a Floyd Rose without any going out of tune like you sometimes get from a classic setup. Love it....

Ahem!!!..... Am I to understand that you were selected to 'test bed' the new Fender 'ZG' Suspensor System designed to eliminate the need for a strap. 8)
