I got a free Fender sticker.

It was a tag hanging from my new Strat.

They gave us this Forum. That seems reasonable to me.

Do you expect free stuff from every company you buy a product from?

i think a free stuff is more than a gift from a company we bought their product.
free stuff is a memorable things, and company should makes an aftersales relation to their buyers

I'd say the contest available only to forum members is a pretty good gift already. Fender doesn't owe us anything.

I agree with you Chet you earn loyalty with good product and responsive service and I think Fender does that. Case in point look at the tee shirt idea being acted upon because of cutomer ideas here on the forum. Not many companies would be so responsive and act so quickly as Fender.

crazy wasnt it !!!

I looked at the logo and had a thought about how cool the logo would be on a shirt or hat and so posted a thread sharing my idea and now only a few days later we have Fender Management saying they will go for it.

bought a strat copy in around 1974 or 75 and been hooked on strats since, though I am sure the now long gone strat copy sounded as bad as the guy playing it.

Fender is first class all the way.
