Anyone other than me go?

I only wanted to see Metallica and Dave Grohl, but the show kicked $@!.

My girlfriend and I camped out all day to have a decent spot. Was pretty much a picnic at the national mall in DC.

Metallica killed it, even though Lars $@!&*% up during the Solo for Master of Puppets.

The best performance overall was Dave Grohl, Bruce Springsteen, and The Zac Brown Band doing Fortunate Son. Dave absolutely tore it up on that one.

Concert for Valor thoughts:

Dave Grohl brings it every time he hits the stage.
Zac Brown's band can cover anything.
The Boss sounds like he swallowed razor blades.
The troops love to kill Mussies to Metalica.
The Black Keys dude has cool guitars.
The troops would love to have Rihanna in a foxhole
Eminem is an a3#ss&hole.

Wow. It sounds like you don't like the Black Keys. Are you saying that they blow heavy chunks against a wall projectile fashion?

Rivera, the long time Yankee closer, always came into the game to the song "Sandman" being played, so that's that connection. Metallica makes SF home, so that's THAT connection. You probably already knew that, but for those that didn't....
