For a while my playing kinda went dead on me. Since getting comfortable with my refret and new sound, I'm getting back into playing. I'm playing so hard my fingers are starting to hurt.

Cool beans, I've been in a slump for the past two weeks or so. I look forward to pulling out of it. Last night I tried to play for a bit and I sounded like diarrhea. I can't wait to get back to sounding like regular poo.

I get into 'ruts' where I feel like I'm playing the same things over and over...never changing my rhythm or rhyme. And it bores me (even though I am the only one listening).
So I will give it a rest for a few days, and then either grab an acoustic, or one of my less played guitars...and start in on something. Eventually, that same day, I will pick up one of my favorite guitars; and even if what I play is the usual stuff...it sounds fresh.

Amp settings and effects pedals are always good to experiment on for different sounds and feels.

Seven guitars, three effects pedals, and four amps....I'm surprised I ever bore myself---but I do.

Super Glue is your friend. I use it religiously.
