Wow great topic OP!

I guess I have to go waaaaaay back to my early influence, The Ventures.
Slaughter on 10th avenue
Telestar
Outer Limits
Wipe Out
Still have some of their LP's (albums for you young whipper snappers). I even have one of them signed by them.

More recent, Classical Gas Mason Williams

A big thanks to those providing links to the songs. Great way to listen to others favorites and be exposed to other great songs.

I'll throw a vote in for Mark Knopfler ... Wild Theme.

That cat just goes places I can't go. I'd like to. I just don't know how.

Since my middle name is James, I thought I'd add this one: 8)
What it is and how it got there.

And here's the man behind the sound. Enjoy.

Good one FSB, surely one of the most memorable electric guitar riffs of all time. And the guitar sound was just too perfect. I can only imagine the audio engineers getting the shivers when they played it back the first time.

Thanks, strings. Glad you liked the video(s).

I agree the theme is memorable, no matter where you are in the world. I loved Vic's layed back performance (as if he had played it before).

In '65 I managed to score some 007 cuff links on my trip to London. Bond was everywhere at the time. I no longer have the cuff links, but that tune stayed with me like an addiction. Other Bond themes are not too shabby either, although I love this original one best.

This is what I play when I want to workout on the drums or party. It's what I chose when it was first released and before I turned to the Strat. 8)

Thought I'd revive this thread.

Found this: Green Monkey by Garnell Cooper and the Kinfolk

Twitchy. Sounds like a diddley bow?

And finally this rousing tune that sounds like something we all know or, perhaps, should know

Also, kudos to the folks who give/gave us these tunes to share on YouTube.
