Yeah, that was fast. The OP got all us old guys reminising about those great heyday's of rock n roll. Good times, tv was willing to experiment, the labels were willing to experiment. We got to watch it all. I miss when rock was king.

But back to the original point. I haven't touched a Princeton amp since the early 70's. You don't hear them mentioned much these days.


Actually there's quite a buzz about them these days. The vintage ones have gotten so expensive that Fender recently put out a Princeton Reverb Reissue. The downside is the PRRI has a street price of $899. Fender says it's much cheaper than buying a vintage one. Prices are dropping but it's still true. Somebody has a '64 PR on eBay with a Buy It Now of $2,000. I think my Vibro-Champ XD is a better deal.
