Even though I sold my electric guitars , I still held on to my 1988 Fender Studio 85 combo which I installed a Eminence Texas heat speaker. I'll never get rid of this amp. I still want to get a Acoustic amp for my Fender CD60CE though but for now , I've been playing it through this. If I ever decided to go back to playing electric, at least I know this will be waiting for me. IMO, it's the best sounding amp I've ever had. I got it just over 2 years ago and was lucky enough to get the footswitch with it as well.

A Fender Super Bassman head, Ampeg SVT-410HLF cab. I would have used a Fender 410 cab, but I like the design of the SVT cab for moving the air. The frequency response: 28Hz – 18kHz was another reason.

The top one is a Traynor YCV40WR. The bottom one is my first "real" amp, a Fender Ultimate Chorus.

One of my friends used to have a Ultimate Chorus. I remember that amp being very, very loud but sounding great. I loved the chorus effect on it. Too bad they're not made anymore.

The clean on it is great. I missed the chorus on my traynor, so I bought a cheap Dano chorus.
When I was using this amp, I didn't use pedals that often. Just a fuzz and a wah. I would use the drive channel exclusively and use the fuzz for a boost.
After getting the Traynor, I did not like the sound of the drive channel anymore. It made me wonder why I never used a good overdrive pedal instead of the amps drive channel.

Love it.

There's one of those in my future.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
