What kind of extra stuff do you plan on doing to your tele.

It depends what parts you want to change. ...Most customization regarding part changing is pretty easy.

Hmmm....Just my opinion, but teles are what they are. I was workign on a friend's last weekend. They've kind of got a special sound of their own, and a look of their own.

If I was looking into customizing a tele....? I probably wouldn't do it. (But then again, I've also gone back to making my strats stock again...sometimes it's just best to accept a guitar for a having a certain role, and allowing it sonically to excel in that role.)

Just an opinion.

PS: You could always slap a few stickers on it....

There are plenty of Telecaster parts that can be changed without permanently changing our guitar.

You can get some wild dress up kits from a place called Greasy Groove Inc. They are located in Canada.

When you get out to the website, select pickguards, then tele style, it will tell you on the page if it fits a stardard tele or HH tel 5 hole or 8 hole etc... Most tele pickguards are drilled the same.
