My vote is for "Army of Darkness". Not really scary but it's fun.
I'm really not into scary movies. Oh, it's a little kid who sees dead people - oh no! Man, grab that kid up slap the devil out of them (gently with love). If they really wanted to make a scary movie it would be about people getting hurt or sick and watching all that they have worked for their entire life deteriorate around them as they struggle to hold on to what they can and pay the bills with an uncontrollable affliction destroying their will. Or maybe something more positive. That would be scary though. I'm scared now...

Yeah, he was pretty scary that Ernest, wasn't he ? LOL. Reminded me in a way of the late, Rondo Hatton with his rubbery looking face.

That was a true classic which also featured Carolyn Jones who played Morticia from the Addams Family. I saw the so called remake which came out a few years ago and it was just pure crap.

When I was a young lad, I could stay up late during summer vacation and see late night horror movies. My favorite then was "Black Sunday" (1960).

Later on, "Motel Hell", but I could never the past the scene with the people planted in the ground with bags on their heads and their tongues cut out. Creeps me out now just thinking about it.

Black Sunday featured Barbara Steele who is still with us. As a matter of fact, I'm friends with her on Facebook. Motel Hell was also a favorite of mine. It featured in case you didn't know , John Ratzenburger as one of the bodies buried in the ground. This was way before he got his big break playing Cliff on Cheers.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
