Thanks for the info! I think I'll have to try out all the phase-type pedals mentioned here, that I can get my hands on-I'm not picky, but I only need one, and I don't want onw I won't be happy with. You know how it goes!

not much differnce between the rotovibe
and the uni vibe the uni vibe has a thicker sounding chorus.
thats it . i like the rotovibe better. they both give you the hendrix
robin trower effect.

Next change on my pedal is a switch form a Boss CS-3 to a Keely Compressor.

I got a Boss DD-7 (digital delay) and it's a fun little thing to play around with.

Since I am not out on the stage anymore, I work all my effects through my GarageBand software/recording program. There is a ton of different guitar effects to work with. Great program for anyone working on a mac.

i own three pedals that i never use but i only bought them for $15 a piece new. their the fab pedals from danelectro. i would recommend these for a starter guitarist who wants pedals. they have 3 different distortions, chorus, flange, and echo. i'll put the link below.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/navigati ... =fab&Nty=1

i wouldnt get a wah until u actually need one. their not cheap.

also, those fab pedals dont sound to bad either.

I use a digitech RP80, it has tons of effects, presets, you can make your own effects, its cheap, and it is easy to use and hook up and all!

I would like to suggest to all of those interested in getting a wah pedal, and all of those that already have one, to go to a local skate shop and buy a small piece of skate board grip tape.

I have some on my wah pedal, and a different color on my volume pedal, and my foot absolutely sticks.

I found when playing in a bar, sometimes your feet can get a little slippery if you step on a spilled drink, and with the grip tape, your foot doesn't slide off the pedal if you get too into the wah-wahing.

I use a different color on my volume pedal just so I know for sure at a glance which one I'm using. Black is wah, red is volume, as I only use the volume to kill the gain in between songs if I'm swapping guitars.
