Who's clean?

As an electric guitar player?

Anyone else have little or no use for distortion in the normal course of playing? Just like the sound of really good pickups through a really good amp?

Often play endless strings of pop / rock - lounge - jazz- surf - folk rock - Latin - lite blues -lite country - Greek - classical - Island stuff, like for weeks at a time and never even think of reaching for a dirty setting on the Cyber-Twin.

I love clean sounds, it truly shows talent without all that distortion. Now every once and a while I do like to crank er' up, But I just love a smooth, glassy clean.

As a bassist, dead clean (unless I am under powered).

I thought you were asking if I had taken a shower before posting or if I had kicked my drug habit. I play clean I love the over all sound and tone of a guitar played without distortion.

I've been playing clean for about 2 or 3 years now, since I switched from Ibanez to Fender. But I am now in the market for a pedal with just a teeny bit of fuzz. I miss cranking out the old Sabbath riffs.

I do enjoy the sound of a clean guitar as well. I like the clear tone and sound through a good amp without doctoring the sound up with effects (which can sound good as well)

I have a distortion pedal, but I never really use it. Now, I probably would use it a little more if I had working batteries...but I didn't use it all that much when they were good. ah well...

I mostly play clean. I probably use other effects more than distortion. I do use distortion, however, if it's the type of song that should have it. But that happens only now and then.

And for Fender Fanatic.....they make AC power adapters for pedals. I use an adapter all the time, and haven't bought a battery for any of my pedals in a couple of years.

I use to love heavy distortion, and had a very distorted sound, but as I have gotten older, and matured as a player my sound has really cleaned up, just a little fuzz.
