This is my new guitar. It came in tues. and I finally figured out how to get a picture up. Sorry its not real good quality.
The guitar is a MIC strat. Got it from Guitar Center.
I was browsing through the guitars on their website and came across an Epi Les Paul in silver sunburst and I sat for about an hour trying to talk myself out of getting it.
As I was browsing the site some more, trying to talk myself out of the LP I came across this one they had listed as just arrived. Supposedly in Excellent condition. Now, I know you aren't supposed to buy a guitar without trying it first, but I couldn't help myself. I hit add to cart and went amp shopping.
It is in real good condition, and I don't have any real complaints about guitar center. The D string was off on intonation when I got it, so I had to adjust that. You would think that GC would check things out before selling something. Oh well.
I have an hour lesson set up for next weekend to help me figure out this amp and guitar. Im having a blast playing it.
I know its a MIC, but the price was right for me, and im a new player, so this is great for me. Hopefully I can get good enough to where I can think its worth it in my mind to get a MIA strat.
So anyway, there it is.

Congrats on your new arrival to the family. That's an interesting finish,it looks like the '50s 2 tone sunburst but the colours are off...or is the lighting or picture quality?

Ya, the picture quality isn't the greatest. Its silverburst. That back wall is blue.

My first was a MIC and I did not know if it was going to be used or sit under the bed, but after 3 years of playing more days in the year than not playing I went for a MIA and I love it I do play both as my MIC is an epi SG type with 57 classics ( my mod ) so now I have a guitar with bukers and one with SSS fat 50s
so have fun
