It had been on my list for months, but I decided to get a brand new MXR 78' for $75 at my local music store.

I'm not sure whether there's a cream for that.

Nice! I have been checking these out for months. My old Dano Cool Cat Distortion doesn't cut it on my pedalboard anymore.
I'll proably pick up one of these at the end of the month.

Cranked the Valve Junior with it. God #$@*&!% damn, is it loud and beautiful. Really dirty pedal. I'm honestly impressed. The Valve Junior makes it sound so raw. It's definitely powerful enough to use with a drummer.

Nice GAS!

I have one of these, and I gotta agree with you- it sounds great! Mine lives in front of my Mustang.

Speaking of glow in the dark, the blue LED from the crunch switch doubles as a night light.

With the wick turned up, it delivers a lot of raw goodness. Esp into an amp that's already dirty. Into a clean amp, at more moderate pedal gain settings, it adds that "cranked amp" lead mojo, but NOT a lot of extra dirt. That part took me by surprise when I first got it.

Push it with an overdrive pedal, and it gets utterly filthy!

** I use mine with a Mustang III and a Super Champ X2. I haven't tried it yet with an actual tube preamp. Thus, my results are via using the gain knob and the crunch switch, with the level at unity.

Pedal is unbelievably great.

I can't wait to actually use it with a drummer
