No this is not about the impending new prince/Princess, this is much better.

New band caught them at Glastonbury this year and along with Band of Skulls Royal Blood blew me away.

Just a bassist and drummer, but the sound coming from the guys bass is incredible, go listen to it. And remember, there is no guitar on any tracks.

Never heard these guys but they sound pretty cool. This track sure sounds like there is some guitar in the mix:

Fraid not, there is no guitar. He's very secretive on his sound but he has revealed he uses made in China gretsch short scale basses, though he recently got a starcaster bass and loves it. Has to be short scale though.

He uses at least 2 amps at a time, has a pedal board he won't let anybody see, and has 'some' guitar strings on his bass with his bass strings.

Drums bass and voice that's it. And a top secret rig haha!

I'm hearing a guitar (or two) in that track, but if the guy claims he's not using any guitars, ok...the "super secret" part of the story makes me raise an eyebrow or two.

Yah, mine too.

The vid started out reminding me almost of Soundgarden but that didn't last long because Soundgarden is more concerned with melodic flow than these guys. They seem to be preoccupied by complicated timing and not much else. I don't think I will be buying anything of these guys. I did like the overall sound of the band but I think they need to start writing some actual music.

My 2¢

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
