Congrats on your NAD, Mr. Nylon!

Thanks, it's a monster of a head that sounds great! I'm glad it weighs 65 pounds, instead of 80 pounds that the Ampeg SVT-CL head weighs.

I changed out the TC Electronic cabs, and back to the Ampeg SVT-410HLF.

Do you have the Heritage head to with that cab? If so I would love to hear your impressions on how the two heads differ in tone.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

No, I wasn't able to compare the two. You're lucky to find a Classic SVT-CL head in a local store in my area any more. I like the Super Bassman sound, and a couple other features the Fender has. The Fender does pair up well with the SVT-410HLF. The main reasons I went with a Heritage SVT-410HLF, over a Classic SVT-410HLF, the Heritage is MIA, it has upgraded Eminence 10's, and the Heritage weighs 76 pounds, compared to 85 pounds for the Classic cab.
