This is about as close as I'll ever get to playing pedal steel. My cover of Sleepwalk by Johnny and Santo.

Start to finish, less than 90 minutes! Inspiration must have struck.

So I want to try this C6 as I have been experimenting with open G,D,and E, I have a question
C6 is from what I see from searching;
1 E stays the same
2 C go up a 1/2 step from B
3 A down 1 step from G
4 G Do I go up or down ?
5 E Do I go up or down ?
6 C Do I go up or down ?
sorry I feel that if I go up I will break strings if I go down I feel I will be very slack or do I use different string gauge to make it work

They're tuned up. I had a few spare strings lying around in the right gauges (two D strings and a G string).

This is the video I copied a lot of the basics from:

Thanks I had a feeling It will be best to change some of the strings to a different gauge I May try it when I have some extra strings and extra time

Nice, Frankie.

For a while, I've wanted to learn to play a lap steel without a slide, dulcimer style.
