I live in an apartment building were some of my neighbors are running a powerline
adapter to relay their internet signal from their access point to their other rooms.
Unfortunatly whenever i turn on my amp i get intermitting, really loud buzzing sounds that stops completly when they take out the powerline adapter.
Since i cannot forbid them to use their adapers, is there some way to isolate my amp against the signal thats coming out of my wall socket.
It is really unbareable to play like this.

Please help

Try it in different rooms, take what you can get.

Put a ferrite bead on the cord.

Google and Wikipedia will tell if you don't know.

Ferrite beads are the way to go. Might take more than one, but they are cheap. They clamp in your power cord. Ham radio guys use them all the time.

Also worth considering (this happened to me)

the input cable to the amp might be suspect.
I had one that wasn't shielded properly and it effectively acted like an antenna.

Yes, plug the amp into an appropriately rated Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). This will not help you if the problem is Radio Frequency Interfereance (RFI) or Electromagnetic Interference, but it would rule out power issues.
