Someone had the idea of our usernames, so how about a baseball jersey for each of us? C'mon, each of us has given FMIC our hard-earned money for your products. So how about a little customer appreciation?

Ironically enough I was just getting ready to post stating that I thought this looked pretty promising, but we've suddenly just taken a step backward here. Oh, the timing!! :-)

That said, I've seen a large enough willing-to-pay contingent that I'll go ahead and get together with our merchandising folks and see if I can get buyoff on the idea. (Chalk this up to another value-add that we can offer on these forums -- i.e., as long as I can get basic buyoff on the concept, we actually have the vendors and resources available to make stuff like this happen using existing channels!)

I would be VERY happy to pay for some merchandise for the Lounge.

I don't visit often but am always pleasantly surprised by how nice everyone is plus Brad is a cool guy to have running the show. He has always been very helpful to me and you guys are a cool bunch to chat with.

Thanks Brad
the majority of us here are willing to pay and understand the need for profitability for a corp. like Fender to exist.

and the fact is we are requesting a product that does not exist and will requier the expense of designing and manufacturing.

opening yourself to such suggestions does indeed show Fenders commitment to its customers and the possibilities of open communication with the customers that this forum can provide.

now are we ready to talk about an American standard Strat in Surf Green with Maple fretboard ???? LOL

Something for Fender-think about it.......if all these people here buy a T-shirt or two.......and they wear them.......walking around in public and such.......wouldn't it also be great advertisement for the Fender Forum and help boost it up?

IMPORTANT UPDATE: I met with our merchandising guy this morning and we are a "go" on this. Repeat, we're "go" for launch! :-)

I can't tell you yet specifically what the shirt's going to look like or what sizing will be available but we'll be working out the specifics in the weeks ahead.

Now ... we're actually in full-on trade show mode at the moment (Summer NAMM is this week, in case ya didn' t hear :-) ) but starting next week we will definitely block some time to get this moving this forward. Stay tuned for updates as they occur!

That sounds great and looking foward to placing my order and hope
every one else on here does the same. Also I think the forums logo on a back of a black tee would look old school cool.
