Well, while I did wear the shirt today at the Hall of Fame shindig I unfortuantely didn't actually get any pics of myself taken while there.

Fear not, though, as I had the wife snap a couple pics which I'll share below.

Speaking of the Hall of Fame shindig, here's a shot of the general chaos in the lobby area -- we basically took over the Tempe Center for the Arts which is a superb new facility:

There'll be plenty of professional pics of the Hall of Fame inductees themselves posted on the Fender Hall of Fame website next week, so be watching for that. Fantastic event, and very moving at times -- the inductees are, after all, by their very nature the 'founding fathers' who have played integral roles in shaping the company into what it is today.

Another shot of today's festivities outside the event:

Back to the subject at hand, though ... here are a couple quick pics to prove that the shirts do indeed exist! Had the wife shoot a couple pics of me in the 'proto' shirt:

The particularly astute amongst you will note the relevance of the 64/65 catalog cover artwork reproduction that I'm standing in front of in the second shot, since the individual depicted front and center with the Jaguar in that painting is none other than Bob Perine -- who was inducted into the Fender Hall of Fame today. (Naturally, Mr. Perine is far better known as the creator of the "You Won't Part With Yours Either" ad campaign.)

And to answer the inevitable "are they available yet?" question -- no, no updates as of yet, they're still not yet showing up in inventory. Will let you all know as soon as I do!

Hey Brad, Did Your Wife say CHEESE !!!!! when she took those shots ???

the shirt is awesome and I bet you got a few looks from the fender freaks out there.

I bet we get some great photos of our gang here after these bad boys get out to us.

I'm still working out how I'm going to pull off a coolest shot ever for mine.

The photoshop elite will no doubt blow us away with some crazy images too.

We were both cracking up, actually -- she had to shoot like 15 pics to get even two 'usable' ones. :-)

Brad, looks like ya'll were having a good time. Wish I could have been there. The shirts look great and the wife says she has to have one too. I guess I'll be buying for the whole family! 8)

Its gotta be fun being the poster child for this group of folks.

Well I was going to say fender nut cases, but I thought I would be nice.

I have to say having an open communication with Fender executives and managers is down right awesome !!!!

Thanks again for giving us this opportunity.
